OSU doctoral students sweep the first three minute thesis contest

Five doctoral students earned top honors in the Oklahoma State University Graduate College’s first-ever  Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®), which challenges participants to effectively explain their research by the end of a three-minute deadline.

Dr. Good, instructor of MAE 4363, challenges his students to complete design projects. One of the challenges during the Spring 2013 semester was to build a frame from 6061-T6511 aluminum, that had as low a weight as possible but can withstand a load of 8000 pounds.
